At The Lakes Racquet Center, we pride ourselves on maintaining a standard of elegance, professionalism, and practicality. Our dress code aims to ensure that all members and guests feel comfortable and appropriately attired while enjoying our tennis, pop tennis, and pickleball courts.
General Guidelines:
- Cleanliness: All clothing and footwear should be clean and in good condition.
- Appropriateness: Clothing should be appropriate for the activity, fit well, and be in good taste.
Specific Requirements:
Tennis:
- Tops: Collared or crew-neck shirts for men and women. Sleeveless tops are allowed but should have a collar. Shirts must always remain on , no exceptions.
- Bottoms: Tennis shorts, skirts, or pants. Athletic leggings or capris are permitted.
- Footwear: Non-marking tennis shoes with adequate support and grip. No running shoes, sandals, or shoes with heels.
POP Tennis and Pickleball:
- Tops: Collared or crew-neck shirts for men and women. Sleeveless tops are allowed but should have a collar. Shirts must always remain on, no exceptions.
- Bottoms: Athletic shorts, skirts, or pants. Athletic leggings or capris are permitted.
- Footwear: Tennis or pickleball shoes with non-marking soles and adequate support. No running shoes, sandals, or shoes with heels.
Additional Notes:
- Hats and Visors: Tennis caps, visors, and hats are permitted but should be worn with the bill facing forward.
- Warm-Ups and Jackets: During colder weather, jackets, and warm-up suits designed for athletic use are allowed. However, once play begins, the appropriate attire underneath should adhere to the dress code.
- Guests: Members are responsible for informing their guests of the dress code. Guests found to be in violation of the dress code may be asked to change or leave the premises.
Enforcement:
Club staff and management reserve the right to enforce the dress code at their discretion. Members and guests not adhering to the dress code may be asked to change or may be denied access to the racquet sports facilities.
